NURSE ASSISTANT

This is a PART TIME, 4 days/week, benefit-eligible position.

Hours are 2pm- 10pm and will include every other weekend.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Participate and receive the nursing report
• Assist or provide residents ADL's
• Follow work assignments and/or work schedules, make rounds
• Meet with the Charge Nurse on a regularly scheduled basis to assist and identify any problems or changes in the residents' conditions
• Perform vital sign functions
• Documentation as needed
• Refresh supplies on the nursing unit
• Serve/pickup meal trays
• Transport residents in wheelchairs as needed
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth to create a sense of safety and welcome of all residents
• Treat employees, residents and visitors fairly and with respect

Position Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
• One year experience as a Nursing Assistant
